Thoracotomy vs. Sternotomy Based Left Ventricular Assist Devices: A Multicenter Statewide Analysis

•Differentiate between thoracotomy-based (T-LVAD) and sternotomy-based (S-LVAD) approaches to left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation.

•Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of T-LVAD compared to S-LVAD, including total and risk-adjusted hospitalization costs.
